Luckily, within just a two-hour drive, you can find breathtaking coastlines, world-class wine regions, towering redwoods, and charming small towns that feel like a world away from the city. Over the years, I’ve taken countless quick getaways from San Francisco, and these are my absolute favorite destinations when I need a reset.

1. Napa Valley – A Wine Lover’s Paradise

Santa Cruz has a little bit of everything- beaches, surfing, redwoods, and a nostalgic boardwalk. It’s one of my favorite weekend getaways because you can switch between relaxing and adventure-filled activities in the same day.
